Motivation

I was a senior engineer who stays busy in a high-pressure environment. Since I saw that my colleagues around me have skin-conditioning needs, I would like to make a skincare app based on customers' costs. Through the digital detection of skin, we can directly and efficiently find suitable skincare products. Moreover, these products' prices are within our desired budget.

User interview & Questionnaire

First of all, I co-designed a questionnaire with my classmates and received around 30 responses. I also read all the feedbacks and sorting all the comments into different categories with an affinity diagram.

Secondly, I interviewed 4 internal users from the Appedu design institute or the Goons design team to look at the problems from their perspectives.

Step 2. UX planning
  1. Medical aesthetics clinics are expensive.
I bought many skincare products recommended by Youtuber, but they were useless and cost a lot of money.

  2. The database is enormous, and the interfaces always crash.

  3. The skincare products recommended by the interface are cooperative products, so they are not objective enough.

  4. The operation is not smooth enough, and I don’t want to use it after less than a few continuous tracking days.

  5. Just taking pictures is not interactive, which invisibly increases the questionability of data.

Strategy 1: Enter the budget before starting to analyze the test report.
Strategy 2: Establish a cloud computing system; massive data can be
stored indefinitely and analyzed in real-time.
Strategy 3: Set the selection of criteria to avoid omitting some niche and
                  high-quality brands.

Strategy 4: Adjust the data structure so that users can use it more intuitively.

Strategy 5: Establish a medical clinic scene, such as an online tutor to
guide the operation, and establish a Line Point feedback mechanism
so that users are happy to maintain and can save money.
